2022 Ohio Hands & Voices Annual Family Conference
This year's theme:
'Literacy, Language and Communication'

Thank you for your interest in attending at the first annual family conference for families of children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
This conference is hosted by Ohio Hands & Voices, in collaboration with the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities and sponsored by the Ohio Department of Health Infant Hearing Program.
All presentations are geared towards to children ages birth - 3, however there is general information for all deaf and hard of hearing children.
However, anyone can attend, families with older children and professionals, BUT families with children over 3/professionals will not receive the education kits/mailings, only birth to 3 families will receive the educational tool kits.



Crom Saunders - May 20th @ 7:15 p.m. EST
Director of Deaf Studies Columbia College Chicago
Crom Saunders is currently Director of Deaf Studies at the American Sign Language Department of Columbia College, Chicago. Crom works extensively on translation projects, including PSA videos and children’s stories, with organizations such as Fun4TheDiasbled and Sally Is Sarah, LLC. Crom has interpreted dozens of plays, from children’s theatre to musicals, including at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and has taught dozens of ASL linguistics and theatrical workshops across the nation, in addition to working as a Director of ASL for several theatre companies across the nation. Crom also performs his one person show, “Cromania!” internationally. And yes, the eyebrows are real.

Attendance to all of the Sessions is recommended as there will be many topics that are very valuable to families who have children with hearing loss. Free registration to all families with children from Birth to 3 years of age.
